The Code Enforcement and Licensing Department deals with alarm registrations and false alarm monitoring, lien search requests, some certificates of use processing in conjunction with all occupational licensing activity, and code enforcement activities.
Occupational Licensing, Certificates of Use, Alarm Registrations, Lien Searches, Enforcement Fines and Liens generate approximately $ 260,000.00 in revenue for the City annually. The Code Enforcement and Licensing Department also adds a system of additional checks and balances between the operating departments to help protect the interests of the City as well as our citizens.
