The Pelican Community Park Playground will be closed all day on Saturday, April 20 for maintenance
The Senator Gwen Margolis Park Soccer Field will be closed for renovations until further notice.
The Government Center entrance from Collins Avenue will be closed starting Monday, April 15 until further notice.
The historic interior bridge in Atlantic Isle will be closed for restoration work on Friday, April 12 from 8 AM – 4 PM.
The Newport Fishing Pier and Pier Parking lot will be closed until 2 PM on Sunday, April 14 for Casting with a Cop event. The Pier Parking lot will be closed starting Saturday, April 13 at 11 PM.

Do we have a City-approved garbage hauler?

The City does not get involved in private business matters or promote or discourage using any particular service provider; however, all garbage haulers doing business within the City of Sunny Isles Beach must have a business tax receipt (formerly known as an occupational license) as well as pay a franchise fee to the City. If you would like the names of the waste haulers who are registered to perform these services in Sunny Isles Beach, please contact the Code Compliance Department at 305.792.1875.
