How can I obtain a copy of a police report?

To obtain a copy of a police report, you may make a request in person at the Police Department and pay a fee of $1.00 (for a certified copy) with cash or check; or submit a request by mail that includes

1. A written request with the case number
2. A report fee of $1.00 (for a certified copy), payable by check or money order made payable to the city of Sunny Isles Beach
3. A self-addressed stamped envelope

The Police Department is located at the SIB Government Center, 18070 Collins Avenue, 2nd Floor, Sunny Isles Beach, FL 33160 and is open 24/7. After business hours access the Police Department through the 2nd floor parking garage. All police reports are issued as certified unless otherwise requested. Non-emergency phone: 305-947-4440. For emergencies call 911.
