The Pelican Community Park Playground will be closed all day on Saturday, April 20 for maintenance
The Senator Gwen Margolis Park Soccer Field will be closed for renovations until further notice.
The Government Center entrance from Collins Avenue will be closed starting Monday, April 15 until further notice.
The historic interior bridge in Atlantic Isle will be closed for restoration work on Friday, April 12 from 8 AM – 4 PM.
The Newport Fishing Pier and Pier Parking lot will be closed until 2 PM on Sunday, April 14 for Casting with a Cop event. The Pier Parking lot will be closed starting Saturday, April 13 at 11 PM.

What do I need in order to apply for a Building Permit?

Required documents vary according to the type of work being performed. For documents required and for additional information, call the Building Department at 305-947-2150, Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm or visit the Building Department at the SIB Government Center at 18070 Collins Avenue, 3rd Floor, Sunny Isles Beach, FL 33160 Monday thru Friday, 7:30 am to 3:30 pm From 7:30 to 8:30 am, access the Building Department through the 3rd floor parking garage.
