Announces Promotions

On Thursday, December 18, 2003, six members of the Sunny Isles Beach Police
Department were promoted in front of the City Commission, City Officials and
most importantly, many of the community residents whom they serve.
One of the most gratifying aspects of the City Manager's and Police Chief's
job, is the ability to see deserving employees advance thru the ranks. These
are the future leaders of your police department and each has offered significant
contributions to the department, the City and the Community over the past 5
years. The following promotions were made thru the efforts and commitment of
the City Manager to implement those aspects of the comprehensive Master Plan
as suggested by Carroll Buracker and Associates during a recent study. Congratulations
