Free bus to Holocaust exhibit
Attention Sunny Isles Beach “Holocaust Survivors”

The Holocaust Documentation and Education Center will be opening the first South Florida Holocaust Museum in Hollywood, Florida within the next year. As part of this significant undertaking, the Center is bringing from Poland an anchor artifact, an authentic World War II rail car that transported Jews from Warsaw to Treblinka during the Holocaust. This rail car will be placed on the “dead track” near the Holocaust Museum, which will be located at 2031 Harrison Street, Hollywood.

There are only eight rail cars such as this one on display throughout the world. These original, authentic cattle cars have a phenomenal impact on those who see them, and we are fortunate to provide this unique, educational opportunity to South Florida. We hope that you will join us.

Free bus service will be available at the Government Center located at 18070 Collins Avenue at 12:00 noon to the Broward County Convention Center on Tuesday, February 13, 2007. Reservations required by 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 7th. Please call the Cultural and Human Services Dept. at 305.792.1706 to be put on the list.

The Holocaust Center will be marking the unprecedented arrival of the rail car with a most meaningful and memorable event, which will take place:
