Sunny Serenade Series Tries Something New for Valentine's Day
By Susan Simpson, Cultural & Human Services Director

The monthly Sunny Serenade Series is trying something new in February. Instead of Gilbert Samson Oceanfront Park, the show will be in Senator Gwen Margolis Park. Although usually on a Wednesday, this time it will be on a Saturday. Instead of a concert
and a dance floor, you can sit back and enjoy a good, live musical comedy.

The city is presenting, all the way from Madison, Wisconsin, the Girls From Building B. This lively show is an original piece written, performed and produced by someone who has visited Building B of our own Oceanview Apartments in Sunny Isles Beach. With three cast members and a keyboard player, this foursome has taken their show to several cities in South Florida and the Midwest. You are in for a real treat with their original songs and, to some perhaps, a familiar banter.

Join us on Saturday, February 14, 2004 at Senator Gwen Margolis Park at 17815 North Bay Road at 7:00 p.m. for an entertaining evening with the Girls from Building B. This is a free presentation brought to you by the City of Sunny Isles Beach Cultural & Human
Services Department.

The Community Shuttle Bus will be running it's special event route throughout the city. For those driving, parking is available behind St. Mary Magdalen's Church.
