Commission Increases Committee Size and Seeks Members

The following five Mayoral Committees are currently active in Sunny Isles Beach:
1. Community Activities and Health Committee
2. Education/Schools Committee
3. Long Range Planning & Intergovernmental Relations Committee
4. Traffic and Safety Committee
5. Tourism & Development Committee

These Committees usually meet once a month in the Government Center.

The Sunny Isles Beach City Commission recently approved an increase in the total members of each Committee from five members to seven members, and is therefore seeking residents to serve.

If you are interested in serving on a Mayoral Committee, please submit a completed Board/Committee Application to the Office of City Clerk by February 1st, 2007.
