Employee Appreciation and Holiday Party Hosted by Christine Lee’s Restaurant…

Tuesday, December 19, turned out to be a great day for city government employees as the City and Police Department said “Thanks” for what you do at a Holiday luncheon.

Christine Lee’s Restaurant hosted the event in typical, fine fashion as Mary Lee and her staff went overboard, again this year, to insure a wonderful time was had by all.

The day was complete with music, door prizes, entertainment, videos capturing some of the highlights of the previous year, resolutions for the New Year and of course the Special Awards for Employees of the Year and their Runner Ups.

Mayor Norman Edelcup welcomed everyone who attended and City Manager John Szerlag also addressed the body of employees who serve this city each and everyday. This was Mr. Szerlag’s first year at the event and he seemed pleased with the outcome and turnout.

As to the Awards presented in 2006 the following employees were recognized and we extend Congratulations to them and all of our employees who go above and beyond in service to this community.
