A new season of “American Idol” is underway and soon you’ll be asked to vote for your favorite future superstar. But if Randy, Paula and Simon knew Sunny Isles Beach has so many of its own star attractions, they would be singing the city’s praises – just like residents living in perfect harmony do...

“Bringing Sexy Back” – This #1 Justin Timberlake song could apply to a few of Sunny Isle Beach’s best destinations including the bikini shops that make even guys love to shop; the beautiful beaches, where head turning physiques have caused more than a few visits to the neighboring Orthopedic Care Center; and tanning salons generating golden girls and guys who never have any tan lines!

“Aint No Other Man” – This chart topping Christina Aguilera song could actually be a tribute to some of the city’s most outstanding men ...like all the husbands and boyfriends who go to Blockbuster and agree to get a “chick flick”; wait in line at the car wash so their lady can go to Lady of America; and take their dates to fancy restaurants – even after the early bird specials are over!

“Money Maker” – The hit Ludacris rap speaks volumes about the many lucrative Sunny Isles Beach enterprises...Just think about the thousands of bagels sold on Sundays; the countless cafe lattes and frappacinos perking up afternoons; and all the salon services that keep high maintenance movers and shakers looking their best. But perhaps the biggest “money maker” is rising property values - so everyone in Sunny Isles Beach shares the wealth!

“Lips of an Angel” – Is Hinder really singing about the collagen injected kind keeping area dermatologists thriving??

“Do I Make You Proud” – Taylor Hicks debut single about inspiring pride could be the theme song for the City Commission – dedicated to creating the highest quality of life; and all the good samaritans who let you go in front of him in the checkout line since you only have a couple of items (without trying to hit on you!)

“Irreplaceable” – Beyonce could be singing about irreplaceable Sunny Isles Beach attributes like the safe, secure environment...Rumor has it the Police Department will be posting signs throughout the city declaring: Don’t even think about crime, speeding, littering, loitering, soliciting, unauthorized parking, or saying anything but the most positive things about Sunny Isles Beach where life is always hitting a high note!
