Valentine Cruise enjoyed by more than 200 passengers

Story and photos by Richard C. SchulmanRichard Schulman

More than 200 citizens of Sunny Isles Beach enjoyed a moonlit evening dinner cruise aboard the luxury yacht “Sir Winston” Valentine’s night February 14, 2008.

Leaving its berth at Bella Vista Bay Park at 6:00 p.m. the “Sir Winston” traveled north on the Intracoastal Waterway while passengers enjoyed a delicious dinner viewing a beautiful night scene along the way.

The 2 hour cruise was also enjoyed by Mayor Norman S. Edelcup, Vice Mayor Lewis J. Thaler, Commissioners George “Bud” Scholl, Roslyn Brezin and City Historian Richard C. Schulman.

A great time was had by all!

A Mother’s Day Luncheon Cruise is now being planned for May 11, 2008. Details will be available in the near future. For more information call Cultural and Human Services at 305.792.1706.
