Join the Team – The Cat Team

Sign up to be part of the team of volunteers to assist in a ‘Trap, Spay/neuter, Return’ program for stray cats in the City of Sunny Isles Beach. The stray cat population has increased within the City in the last couple of years. To control their reproduction, the City has become a member of The Cat Network, providing for low cost spaying and neutering of stray cats.

Volunteers will be responsible for trapping the stray cats, taking them to a listed veterinarian for the procedure, and returning them to the same location in which they were trapped. Traps and cages are available for volunteers to use. Trapping locations have been selected and will continue throughout the year.
