The Joyful Holiday of Purim came alive at the Winston Towers 100
on March 12th as 125 members of the Social Club and invited guest listened to an off-stage narrator relate the story of King Ahasuerus and his Queen Esther. Then, to the heralding of the trumpet, performed by Richard Schulman; the King, enacted by Phillip Chernoff, entered the beautifully decorated royal court.

Seated upon a leopard skin throne, King Ahasuerus summoned the fair maidens of the condo to appear before him to withdraw the coveted gold necklace from among those made of “rubies and emeralds”, lying within the King’s royal purse.

Esther Weinberger, having successfully retrieved those beads was crowned the Queen and received a royal wedding gift, as the King placed his ring upon her Finger.



Court jesters, Elaine Goldberg and Jesse Jacob, “brought down the house” with their hilarious antics.

Wonderful entertainment by Mindy McGee was sponsored by H2U of Aventura Hospital.

Delicious Hamentashen was served after the show and truly good time was had by all.
