Commission reads to the community at the SIB Branch Library

Sunny Isles Beach Branch of Miami-Dade Public Library System

To celebrate the National Library Month, the Mayor of Sunny Isles Beach Norman S. Edelcup, Vice Mayor Roslyn Brezin, Commissioners Gerry Goodman, Danny Iglesias and Lewis J. Thaler and Miami-Dade County Commissioner Sally Heyman took turns reading to the community at the Sunny Isles Beach Branch Library on April 5th and 7th. Melissa Bouganim, student of Highland Oaks Middle School, also performed a monologue from the movie Rent. More than 50 children and parents enjoyed these special programs. SIB Branch Library Manager Jennifer Dewsnap presented the readers with the Certificates and small tokens. Refreshments were served after the programs.
