City Enjoys a Little Old Time
Rock and Roll at the Sunny Serenade Concert

The monthly Sunny Serenade concert in April had a record number of
people out of their chairs and on the dance floor. They grooved
to songs such as ‘Rockin Robin’ and ‘Twist and
Shout’. Check out the photos
to see guests of all ages rockin’ and
rollin’.
Preliminary results
of a survey about the Sunny Serenade Concert series showed that an
overwhelming
number of those surveyed want to hear ‘Oldies
/ 1950’s and 1960’s’ music. In second place so far
was Classical music. Using these results, the city planned a classical
music concert in March and an old time rock and roll concert in April.
Surveys are still
being conducted and will assist the Cultural and Human Services Department
in scheduling concerts for next season. If you would
