Premier book signing event

Alyce Hanson, Administrative Services Director Noted Miami historian and author Seth H. Bramson has written a wonderful history of the city titled: From Sandbar to Sophistication: The Story of Sunny Isles Beach. With 192 pages and more than 200 photographs this collection of vintage and current images commemorates the beauty and uniqueness of the past and honors the city’s founders, developers and citizens.

Author and historian Seth BramsonAuthor Seth H. Bramson will be signing books at the Sunny Isles Beach Government Center, 18070 Collins Avenue on Saturday, May 19, 2007. The event begins at 11:00 a.m. with the author speaking in the David P. Samson Commission Chambers, and at 11:30 a.m. moves into the Sunny Isles Beach Branch Library where the author will sign books until 2:00 p.m.

The city will be offering the books for sale at this event for $10.00, or if you are a resident and bring in your post card take advantage of the $5 offer – one book per residence.
