Families and Neighbors Come Out for a Day of Fun!

On Saturday, May 7th, 2005, the city held its annual Family Fun Day at Senator Gwen Margolis Park, from 2:00 – 6:00 PM. There were rides, food, music, and games for everyone.

All the participants of our recreational soccer program and recreational basketball program were recognized with awards for their participation, as well as some special awards for those players who were extremely dedicated to the program.

Soccer Awards
Most Improved Player – Sebastian Puig (U6), Martina Moffat (U6), Angela Delgado (U8), Tomas Poggi (U10), Santiago Castaneda (U12), and Erick Martinez (U14).
Most Valuable Player – Ernie Valladares (U6), Fabiola Ortiz (U6), Daniel Grek (U8), Tomas Moffat (U10), Pablo Alvarez (U12), and Diego Echeverria (U14).

Basketball Awards
Most Improved Player – Paula Bunich (U6), Stephen Crespi (U8), Ronen Shohat (U8), Yanniv Mbiango (U10), Janeth Roman (U12), and Laura Rios (U12).
Good Sportsmanship Award – Jake Jawor (U6), Ernie Valladares (U6), Daniel Grek (U8), Cain Daniel (U10), Pedro Krum (U10), and Michael Bengochea (U14)
