Opens Branch in Sunny Isles Beach

Residents of Sunny Isles Beach have a new 7,500 square foot library on the ground floor of their newly-inaugurated City Hall. Located at 18070 Collins Avenue, the library is filled with natural light through glass panels and high ceilings. Patrons can now enjoy views featuring a beautiful garden, a fountain and palm trees while perusing the branch’s brand new collection of books and other materials, in addition to surfing the Internet through more than twenty computer stations. This latest addition to the expanding Library System was built to Miami-Dade Public Library specifications and designed by the architectural firm of Spillis & Candela. For the convenience of patrons, the City’s Shuttle Service route includes stops at the library six days a week.
