Meet Marisol.
. Realtor.
. Single.
. Enjoys music and dancing.
. Owns a condo on the beach.
. Likes tai chi and surfing - although at thirty-something doesn't surf much anymore.
. Has a real estate office in the city.

Marisol has two computers - one at home and one at work. She doesn't really like computers, but finds them very useful to retrieve information for her clients. (She also finds it very useful to be on good terms with a reliable computer technician!)

Marisol has always prided herself in providing value-added customer service. At their first meeting, she listens to the potential buyer for specific information. You know information like: Is this person retired? An investor? Single? Married? Married with children? Etc.

At their second meeting she presents to that client a packet of information. Most of the time that includes information about area shopping, houses of worship, parks and recreation, etc. For clients with younger children, she adds information about schools.

Even though Marisol doesn't surf the waves anymore, she has taken up surfing the net - www.sibfl.net that is - the official website of the City of Sunny Isles Beach. As many of her clients are buying properties in Sunny Isles Beach, she finds information on this website very helpful. Some of her favorites now include:

City Maps
Marisol uses City Maps, to print out an aerial view of a property. On this GIS system she points out the other information the client might like to know, including the closest city park, beach access, school information, etc. Buyers like knowing this information.

Concerts
For her own entertainment, Marisol checks for the dates of events, such as concerts, on the Calendar of Cultural Events or Quickfind, Concerts.

Commission Meetings/Agendas/Minutes
Marisol like to keep up on what is happening at Commission Meetings in Sunny Isles Beach. The Calendar tells her when the City Commission Meetings are scheduled.

She watches for the agenda of commission meetings (Quickfind, Agendas) to be posted. Usually this is a couple of days before the meeting.

She catches the minutes of Commission meetings when they are on the site (Quickfind, Minutes). This is after Commission approves them at the following meeting.


Despite being thirty-something, Marisol once again enjoys surfing - surfing the net that is at www.sibfl.net.

Surf by day. Surf by night.
