Father and Son win medals in the Florida’s 2006 Sunshine State Games.

Julio Retamar, an employee of the City of Sunny Isles Beach and his son, Leonard Retamar, a resident and local Real Estate agent in Sunny Isles Beach, participated in the 2006 Florida’s Sunshine State Games and both excelled in their respective sport. Julio won the Gold Medal within his division and age group in the kayaking competition that took place at Oleta River State Park while his son Leonardo won a Silver Medal in the Men’s singles competition in Racquetball and a Silver Medal in the Men’s doubles competition with doubles partner Mike Ricci in Pembroke Pines. We congratulate both of them.
