Special presentation at the City Commission Meeting, July 19

Mayor Edelcup presented a proclamation to Mary Lee, owner of Christine Lee’s Restaurant, proclaiming July 19, 2007 as “Mary Lee Day in Sunny Isles Beach”. Mary Lee thanked the Commission, Chief Maas, and staff for their support over the years. She said it was a difficult decision to close the restaurant after 37 years here in Sunny Isles Beach but a wonderful opportunity came up, and announced that she is reopening her restaurant at the Gulfstream Race Track in Hallandale.
