Back to School – Safety Rules for Adults

First day of school in Miami-Dade County – August 14, 2006.
It is the responsibility of adults to teach our children safety.
It is also our responsibility to watch out for them.

When driving in areas congested with students,
stay off the phone, and
pay attention to what is going on around you.
Watch out for children and crossing guards.

So you won’t be impatient if you are delayed
by a school bus, crossing guard or traffic problems,
leave early and slow down.

Remember, nothing is as important as
the safety of everyone in our community.
