The City of Sunny Isles Beach voted a $1,000.00 donation to an organization who will write letters to our serviceman overseas to let them know that we appreciate them serving and protecting our country.

Recently I read in the paper that the last surviving World War I veteran passed away. Since that war, our service personal have served our country in many other wars and peacetime duties overseas. I myself am a veteran of World War II, United States Navy.

There are some organizations that are looking for veterans who have been wounded in the course of their service to our country and that are also residents of Sunny Isles Beach. I would appreciate these veterans contacting me; so we can meet and explain how we can honor you.
