Movie Nights Are Back and Better Than Ever

Movie Nights, the city’s free movie in the park program, will be starting up again on Saturday, October 1, 2005.

If you are not familiar, the first Saturday of each month the city hosts a movie at Senator Gwen Margolis Park from October through April. A movie is played on a big screen with sound amplified to hear throughout the park. There are refreshments, popcorn and drinks, available for purchase. No seating is provided so bring a blanket or chair to be comfortable.

The ‘better than ever’ part is the addition of an activity that follows the theme of the movie. For example, our first movie in October will follow a fall theme and children will have the opportunity to participate in the activity before the movie starts. Sylvia Arias, Program Coordinator, has planned great activities, so be on time for a full evening of fun.

Future movie dates are: 11/3/05, 12/3/05, 1/7/05, 2/4/05, 3/4/05, and 4/1/05.
