Another County Service Made Convenient for You in Sunny Isles Beach

I am pleased to announce that, as a convenience for our residents, the City of Sunny Isles Beach has arranged for the Miami-Dade County Property Appraisal Department to come here to assist residents with filing forms for the homestead exemption. This includes the Limited Income Senior Citizen Exemption. Application for the Limited Income Senior Citizens Exemption must be made by March 1 of the tax year. This exemption does not automatically renew. A renewal application must be filed by March 1 of every tax year. This is a wonderful opportunity for our residents to insure that all their paperwork is in order to receive the maximum exemption benefit on their property taxes.
