“A Gift for Life to Be Remembered By…”

As a final act and gesture of her goodness, kindness and benevolence, Mrs. Mary Lee of Christine Lee’s restaurant, formerly in Sunny Isles Beach for more than 37 years, gave a gift to the City and Community that would last a lifetime.
When Christine Lee’s restaurant left our city, Mary Lee had a beautiful Baby Grand Piano that had been used to entertain guests for years. When she inquired as to what good use could be made of it, the suggestion arose to donate it. And so she did! To the brand new Community Center being built that will allow people of all ages, especially the kids to enjoy and learn in the years to come.
Mary Lee donated this gift, accepted formally by the City Commission in memory and honor of her mother, Christine Lee. An attached plate has the inscription that shall serve in her memory for many, many years to come.
On behalf of every adult who will enjoy, every child who may learn and every happy event that is accompanied by this gift of love and remembrance, we say “Thank You to Mary and Christine Lee’s.”
