Retiring School Board Chairman Michael Krop honored

A retirement celebration was held October 15, 2004 at the Parrot Jungle Island for Dr. Michael M. Krop, Chairman of the School Board of Miami-Dade County and was attended by more than 1,000 persons. Attendees included members of the School Board of Miami-Dade County, students, teachers, and many other city officials and state dignitaries who said goodbye and a job well done!!

Among those honoring Dr. Michael M. Krop, on his retirement (and pictured below) were Education Committee Chairperson from Sunny Isles Beach, Bob Welsh, Mayor Norman S. Edelcup from Sunny Isles Beach, Superintendent of Schools Rudolph F. Crew, Vice Mayor Gerry Goodman and Commissioner Roslyn Brezin both of Sunny Isles Beach.
