'Twas just weeks before Christmas and Chanukah too
Flocks of snowbirds and tourists landing right on cue!
Sunny Isles Beach is ready to welcome the holiday season
The city has much to celebrate with very good reason!

“Florida’s Riviera” is certainly the place to be –
Where else is the temperature still climbing to 83??
Up north they’re freezing in sweaters and boots
But we’re still wearing sunblock and bathing suits

All along Collins luxury resorts are now thriving
Every day more international jetsetters are arriving
News travels fast that Sunny Isles Beach is “hot”
Perfect for budgets ranging from moderate to a lot

Many who come to visit will sure want to stay
They’ll discover the city is ideal for work and play
Families are also thinking it’s exceptionally cool
Sunny Isles Beach is getting its own public school

The City Commission is working day and night
They’re goal is making life in the city “just right”
“Let’s get more green space – beautify every street!”
The commitment to improvements can’t be beat

Mayor Norman S. Edelcup strives for more open parkland
