New parking meter rates established at City lots

The live attendant and booth at several City parking locations will be replaced by centralized parking meters. New fees are effective November 17, 2006 for the following locations.

Rates at the Ellen Wynne Beach Access and the William Lehman Overpass (Center Island) parking lots will be $2 for each hour, minimum 1 hour and maximum 12 hours allowed.

Rates at the Pier Park and under the William Lehman Bridge parking lots will be a $6 flat rate per day during weekday hours, 12 hour maximum. Weekdays run from 12:00 a.m. Monday to 11:59 p.m. on the immediately following Friday. The weekend rate applies to all City observed holidays. Rates for the weekend in those same locations will be $10 flat rate per day, maximum 12 hours. Weekends begin at 12:00 a.m. on Saturday and end at 11:59 p.m. on Sunday.

These rates will be enforced by City Parking Enforcement Officers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
