Where in the world is the Sunny Isles Beach Sun?

Perhaps in Toledo, Spain….?

The Liberty Bell

Alex Vinokur of Winston Towers holds the Sunny Isles Beach Sun Community Newspaper at an observation point overlooking Toledo. The city is atop a rocky mountain surrounded by yellow hillsides. The medieval city is one of the oldest towns on the Iberian Peninsula. The skyline near Toledo is dominated by the mighty Alcazar fortress and below that sits mosques and churches and synagogues heaped together with only narrow cobbled streets twisting through the architectural maze.
Toledo is bounded on three sides by the Rio Tajo. The city was inhabited in prehistoric times, and was already settled when the Romans came in 200 BC. The Roman’s established such a strong steel working craft in the town that the reputation has carried to the modern times. The name “Toledo” is synonymous with the steel swords crafted here. When the Moors ruled the area unusual religious tolerance existed and therefore today, Toledo is one of the few cities in the world where one can see Renaissance Cathedrals, Synagogues and Mosques. The city is known as the religious and historical capital of Spain, and has been declared a National Monument.
