City Attorney Hans Ottinot was selected by his peers as one of the top government attorneys in the State of Florida by the Florida Trend Business Magazine (“Florida Legal Elite”).

According to Florida Trend, the selection process was rigorous. It began with notifying and inviting members of the Florida Bar to participate in balloting by providing names of Florida Government lawyers they hold in the highest regard – lawyers they have worked with personally or would recommend to others. The votes were tallied by an independent research firm, and a Blue Ribbon Panel of prominent lawyers reviewed the list of attorneys who garnered the most votes.

Hans was notified of this honor and shared this response: “I share this honor with the City Commission and staff because a ‘good’ client makes an attorney’s job a little bit less difficult,” said Ottinot.

In 2004, City Attorney Hans Ottinot was selected as one of the top 100 government attorneys in the South Florida area by the South Florida Legal Guide.
