Sunny Isles Beach is hosting its first annual Jazz Fest October 17-19, 2008 with events being held in various locations, including Samson Oceanfront Park. As such, Samson Oceanfront Park will be CLOSED to the general public as a park and as a beach access on Saturday, October 18, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.

Additionally, on Friday and Sunday, October 17 and 19, 2008 the park will be used for set up and tear down with many delivery trucks on the park grounds compromising the safety of pedestrians. Therefore, there will be limited beach access those two days.

On Saturday, when Samson Oceanfront Park is completely closed to the public, please use the next closest beach accesses which are:

• To the north, 17555 Collins Avenue on the north side of the Pinnacle.
• To the south, 17275 Collins Avenue on the north side of the Florida Ocean Club.
