One of the more pleasant assignments a Police Chief handles is the appointment or promotion of individuals within the ranks of the police department.  Experience, dedication, hard work and study are all just some of the factors that figure into the advancement equation.

Recently, a promotional testing process and assessment center was conducted for your police agency’s eligible candidates.  After long hours of study and preparation and a rather challenging all-day process of testing and evaluation, the following emerged eligible to be promoted.  They were confirmed by the Chief of Police and City Manager on December 18, 2008, the following police personnel were promoted to their next respective rank in the presence of the City Commission, family members and friends.  Congratulations are extended to all.
