Reality TV shows are all the rage – and many could be filmed right here in Sunny Isles Beach where true to life dramas take center stage every day!

Survivor: …Stranded on Collins Avenue at rush hour with only a Mercedes for shelter, bottles of Vitamin Water and Rolex watches reminding road warriors how late they’re going to be for personal training sessions at their exclusive gyms and spas. Who will survive the traffic with dignity and grace? Only resilient drivers who would rather stay stuck in “American Idle” mode than risk running red lights and meeting motor patrol officers!

True Beauty…There are so many beautiful people in the city, the competition would be fierce – but since the show’s title is “True Beauty” that could potentially disqualify a lot of cosmetically enhanced contenders. Then again, if Botox, collagen, eye lifts, tummy tucks, lipo and implants were cause for elimination, there might not be anyone left to compete!

Wife Swap…If a show featured the adventures of Sunny Isles Beach wives trading places - it would probably be really boring! After all, how much different could life be at Ocean I, II, III, etc., and various other luxury oceanfront condos? The ratings would probably be a whole lot better if the show was changed to “Pet Swap” and ladies with tiny dogs dressed in matching outfits had to try squeezing Dobermans into their designer handbags!

Rock of Love…While there may not be any aging rock stars looking for love in Sunny Isles Beach, there are quite a few seniors around town who can attest to the fact that passion promotes longevity. But the true challenge associated with a love-based reality show is finding a couple that stays together long enough to complete filming an entire season!  

Extreme Home Makeover…This is probably the only show that couldn’t be set here since coming home to Sunny Isles Beach is already such a “rewarding reality!”
