More than 120 residents of South Florida enjoyed an evening of piano excellence, featuring world renowned piano duo of Maxim Mogilevsky and Svetlana Smolina. The program included Symphonic Dances and Suite No ‘2’ Opus 17 by S. Rachmaninoff for two pianos and Fantasy on George Gershwin’s Songs.
This special concert took place at the Community Center at Pelican Community Park in Sunny Isles Beach on Wednesday, March 18th.at 7:30 p.m. Mayor Norman S. Edelcup presented bouquets of roses to both artists following the wonderful performances. Everyone who attended the performance enjoyed coffee and cake afterwards on the patio.
