‘Grade A’

The Sunny Isles Beach Community School recently received an “A grade” for students achieving high state comprehensive test scores in various subjects… a “grade A” standard being exemplified all around the city…

‘A in Math’: The city really is a wiz at math - from adding up how much new revenue will come in when cameras start catching red light runners at 172nd Street and 174th Street – to motor patrol officers calculating just how fast you’re going. The only thing kind of hard to  enumerate is how many of us have had to take a deep breath and count to 100 very slowly while trying not to get arrested for cursing when being issued a ticket.

‘A in English’: It’s a good thing Sunny Isles Beach visitors have such good reading skills – otherwise they might never be able to reach their destination by following the multitude of signs identifying condos and all the shops inside RK Shopping Centers! Another “Grade A” perk of living in such a diverse, upscale community is that it doesn’t really matter if you speak English at all since “luxury” is the universal language everyone understands.

‘A in Writing’: From customers ahead of you in line taking forever to write checks – to cell phone aficionados managing to write text messages without typos while parallel parking, it’s no wonder the wonders that never cease to amaze are really something to write home about!

‘A in Science’: There was definitely a science behind proactive city initiatives like building  the K-8 Sunny Isles Beach Community School…But you don’t have to be a rocket scientist to figure out that all the “Grade A” attributes of life in the city are what makes living here such a smart move!
