The Cultural & Human Services department hosts events throughout the year, many of which are free. Here you will find a listing of the upcoming events, and any important information you should know in order to attend.

Four Seasons Concert Series, October 7th, 2009 – Residents - $10; Non residents - $15
Series discount tickets: (4-concert package including October, January, April & July) Residents - $20; Non-residents- $40

One of the best kept secrets around, come and enjoy a ballet performed in an intimate setting, by the Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida.

Booogie by the Beach, October 30th and 31st, 2009- Residents - Admission FREE, some activities may have a nominal fee. 7:00-11:00p.m., Pelican Community Park (18115 North Bay Road).
You’re invited to join us for our annual Halloween Party. Come and enjoy games, rides, food, music, our famous haunted house, and a scare of a good time. For more information, please call 305-792-1706.

Family Movie Night, November 7th, 2009-FREE
Enjoy a movie under the stars with family and friends. Games & activities for the children prior to the movie. Food will be available for purchase.
7:00pm, Town Center Park, 17200 Collins Avenue.

Golden Era Film Series, November 10th, 2009– FREE
10:00am – 12:00pm, Pelican Community Park Community Center (18115 North Bay Road)
Come with friends and neighbors and enjoy a Golden Era classic film. Some previous showings include It’s A Wonderful Life, Viva Las Vegas, and Breakfast at Tiffany’s.
