Ballet a smashing success!

The City of Sunny Isles Beach hosted the first Four Seasons Concert of the 2009/2010 series. The event took place on October 7, 2009 from 7:30-9:00pm at the Sunny Isles Beach Community School Auditorium.  Twenty four ballerinas from the Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida, directed by Maestro Vladimir Issaev, presented excerpts of the Russian ballet Firebird, with music of Stravinsky, and other pieces of their classical and neo-classical ballet repertoire.

Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida is the only ballet company in the North Dade area and it offers to the community a variety of spectacular ballet performances including the traditional Nutcracker production, as well as educational programs for the children of the area.

Almost 100 guests enjoyed the opportunity to watch this enchanting performance as well as meet and greet the dancers. It was a fantastic night for family, friends, and neighbors to watch a world class performance that was affordable and close to home.
This performance was the first of the Four Seasons Concert Series from 2009/2010 followed by three more.
