The Sunny Isles Beach Government Center is home to History Hall where city historian Richard C. Schulman has gathered for display, pictures and copies of old post cards of popular motels such as: the Golden Strand, Desert Inn, Castaways, Driftwood, Aztec, Ocean Palm, etc. Get acquainted with Harvey Baker Graves, the founder of this area, and stroll along ‘motel row.’
History Hall has recently reopened after an extensive renovation project and is once again ready for visitors.
