CHAIRWOMAN: SENIOR CITIZEN WELFARE SUB-COMMITTEE

I was honored this year to be selected by Commissioner Gerry Goodman to join the Sunny Isles Beach Mayor’s Advisory Committee as Chairwoman of the Senior Citizens Sub-Committee.  Commissioner Goodman and I share a deep passion of love and care for the Sunny Isles Beach senior citizens.

I moved here from Paris, France in 1989, bringing with me my experience as a humanitarian, community activist and international real estate broker to help serve the residents of our wonderful City.  As a volunteer I have been active in the SIB traffic and safety committee, film and entertainment committee and many other Sunny Isles Beach activities.  In January 2003 I was honored by the City as an outstanding humanitarian and having the week of January 19, 2009 proclaimed as “Ann Kaul’s week in the City of Sunny Isles Beach”.

Currently in addition to managing my rental properties I am taking law classes at Nova University.  I am involved in research concerning senior lifestyles, including health care systems, alternative treatments for cancer and bone loss prevention.

Along with my sub-committee associates, Nancy Dagger and Warren Liberman, we are planning to establish an Office of Senior Citizens at City Hall and to provide a place for our senior citizens to meet and socialize.  Another future goal is to develop plans for an affordable luxurious assisted living facility in our City.

My committee and I thank Mayor Edelcup and all the City Commissioners and Officials for their exceptional work in providing the Sunny Isles Beach senior with free bus service, field trips, shows, computer classes, Tai Chi and Yoga classes and so much more.
