The City of Sunny Isles Beach and Florida International University Biscayne Bay Campus hosted a record audience for "An Evening of Russian Opera"

On Wednesday, March 10th more than 225 opera lovers attended “An Evening of Russian Opera” with the Singers of the Lyric Orchestra. This event was part of the City of Sunny Isles Beach Four Seasons Cultural Series in partnership with Florida International University’s Biscayne Bay Campus Prestige Cultural Series.

The Lyric Orchestra performed various scenes from popular Russian operas of Tchaikovsky and Alexander Borodin accompanied by pianist Anna Fateeva. Record setting attendance of this event featured opera fans of all ages from Sunny Isles Beach, Bal Harbour, Golden Beach and Aventura. The concert took place at Sunny Isles Beach Community School, located at 201 182nd Drive, Sunny Isles Beach.

The City of Sunny Isles Beach next Four Seasons Cultural Series event will feature Russian pianist Damira Feldman. The concert will be held at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, July 21at Sunny Isles Beach Community School. Tickets are on sale now and may be purchased in-person at the City of Sunny Isles Beach Government Center Visitor Center located at 18070 Collins Avenue or Pelican Community Park located at 18115 North Bay Road.
