Meet Steve Trattner

Steve Trattner presently heads up the Traffic and Public Safety Sub-Committee of the City Advisory Committee.

I moved to Sunny Isles Beach more than fifteen years ago.  During that time I have personally witnessed an incredible growth in the city’s landscape and populations.  The evolution has been remarkable for the city and its residents. With growth comes added demands on our city streets.

The Traffic and Public Safety Sub-Committee explores and proposes solutions to safety concerns throughout Sunny Isles Beach in order to alleviate traffic and other public safety concerns. If you are interested in helping to ensure the safety of the local citizens, businesses and visitors please contact me directly at steve@trattner.net. Your input is valued and welcome.

Membership in the sub-committee is open to Sunny Isles Beach residents from throughout the community, Sunny Isles Beach Community School and local businesses.  Through regular monthly meetings, the group discusses current traffic and public safety related concerns and explores opportunities to improve current conditions and plan for the city’s future traffic and safety needs. Subcommittee members work towards achieving consensus on actionable solutions and prepare proposals for the City Commission’s consideration.

I have a background that spans 22 years in the health care marketing and insurance industries.  After graduating from Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Communications and then obtaining my MBA in healthcare marketing, I entered the managed care industry and helped propel three separate health maintenance organizations to forefront of the industry.

With that experience, I started Trattner Health Partners, a healthcare marketing consultancy specializing in marketing and operational strategies and whose clients included managed care companies, insurance entities, medical forensics, hospital networks and pharmaceutical wholesalers.  More recently, I was Vice President of Marketing and Sales for a leading national health plan. Five years ago, I helped found Cinergy Health, a national health and life insurance agency with three offices throughout South Florida, including Sunny Isles Beach, with over two hundred employees serving the health and life insurance needs for people in all 50 states.

I live in the Golden Shores neighborhood with my wife of 22 years, Elizabeth Trattner, an acupuncture physician, and my daughter, Charlotte, a sixth grader at the new Sunny Isles Beach Community School.
