Golden Era Film, April 13, 2010 – FREE
10:00 am – 12:00pm, Pelican Community Park, (18115 North Bay Road)
It’s time to get together and watch a good movie with friends and neighbors. The April featured film is Singing in the Rain. Reservations are required. Popcorn, Coffee, Bottled Water served before the movie. A FREE Boxed Lunch will be served after the movie. To reserve your seat or request accommodations for persons with disabilities please contact the Cultural and Human Services Department at least 24 hours in advance: 305-792-1706.
Sunny Serenade, April 21st, 2010 – FREE
7:30pm – 9:00pm, Samson Oceanfront Park (17425 Collins Avenue)
The city hosts the Sunny Serenade Concert Series from September thru May, at Samson Oceanfront Park, typically on the 3rd Wednesday of the month. The April concert will feature Strings of Passion. These concerts are FREE and open to the public. The event includes live musical entertainment, and refreshments for sale. Parking is available along the north side of 174th Street and in the municipal parking lot located at 175th Street and Atlantic Avenue, and the city shuttle bus will be running the special events schedule.
The Kosher Cheerleader, April 25, 2010
12:45pm, City Shuttle leaves City Hall
The Kosher Cheerleader trades in her cheering uniform for long skirts, and lands upon the traditions-bound path of Modern Orthodox Judaism. Seats in Rows E & F. Price: $52.00 residents, $57.00 non-residents and includes round-trip transportation to the theatre. The City Shuttle Bus departs City Hall at 12:45 pm for the Parker Playhouse. Purchase tickets in-person at the Sunny Isles Beach Visitor Center located on the first floor of the Government Center or at Pelican Community Park, located at 18115 North Bay Road.
