Where in the World is the Sunny Isles Beach Sun?

Perhaps in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa

Sunny Isles Beach residents Fred Koenigsberg, & Adria Frede remembered to take the Sunny Isles Beach Sun on safari in South Africa.  1) Fred Koenigsberg poses at the Zulu Nyala Game Lodge and 2) at Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Game Preserve, Hluhluwe, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Adria says, “We saw hundreds of fantastic animals, but couldn't get any of them to pose with the newspaper!”

Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Game Preserve is the oldest game park in Africa, along with nearby St. Lucia Reserve. Established in 1895, the 96,000 hectare park is set in the heart of Zululand. Lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo and rhinoceros, often referred to as the “Big Five”; stalk the savannah in plentiful numbers. The park’s White Rhino conservation program became the bench mark for animal capture and sustainable utilization throughout Africa. Visitors can experience the wildlife either on a self-guided auto tour or with an experienced guide in the early morning or late afternoon.

You too can appear in an issue of the paper. When you travel, take a copy of the Sunny Isles Beach Sun newspaper with you, pose with the paper in front of a landmark or with your group. Send the photo with the highlights of your trip to the address below. If you would like your original photograph returned, include a self-addressed, stamped envelope with your correspondence.
