Life in the City

‘Lightning Bolt Ideas’
Now that Lightning Prediction Systems are being installed in Sunny Isles Beach parks to detect atmospheric conditions likely to produce lightning strikes in certain areas, it might be a good idea to also have similar auditory alerts activated in other places, further serving to protect the safety and well being of residents…

Rude Prediction Systems: Just imagine how great it would be if you could be warned  that rude people were on the way to wherever you happen to be…This could help you avoid having to put up with someone cutting you off on the road; interrupting your “quiet time” with a loud cell phone conversation; or stealing the only empty chaise lounge at the pool that had your towel on it.

Long Line Prediction Systems: To avoid having to wait on long lines, it would be really helpful to have a warning system so you could go to a restaurant and actually get to eat breakfast before lunchtime; catch a movie in the theatre – before it comes out on DVD; or get a cup of coffee at Starbucks without falling asleep and missing out on your chance to customize your Frappuccino!

Good News Prediction Systems: Everyone would really appreciate a system alerting us to good news about world happenings – so instead of getting down about volcanic eruptions, bomb threats, oil spills and economic downturns, we could all join in celebrating happier events like the 13th anniversary of Sunny Isles Beach coming up in June.

Traffic Prediction Systems: Wouldn’t it be helpful if an alert would sound whenever there was a lot of traffic on Collins Avenue? Then you could decide the best times to do all your errands so you could make it back home in time to hear the weather report on the evening news to see if any impending lightning strikes might prevent you from enjoying the next day at one of the great parks in Sunny Isles Beach!
