On Sunday, June 13th, 2010 from 12:00 to 4:00 pm, The City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida’s Riviera, is gearing up for its 13th Anniversary Celebration. And this is one event you don’t want to miss.

Join the Safari Expedition for this year’s birthday bash beachside at Samson Oceanfront Park in celebration of the city’s incorporation in 1997. Activities include Animal Ambassadors from Jungle Island including a baby dragon, crafts, games, Safari-themed rides, and more.   There will be live musical entertainment and a B.B.Q. lunch. And if that is not enough, residents can watch the 3rd Annual Sunny Isles Beach Offshore Powerboat Challenge from the beach.

To wrap things up at 3:00 pm, Mayor Norman Edelcup and City Commissioners will host the annual cake cutting ceremony for the grand finale, and that is just the icing on the cake!
