Classical Music, Italian Opera and Modern Ballads, Saturday, June 5, 2010 – FREE
7:30 to 9:00 pm, Sunny Isles Beach Community School, 201 182nd Drive, Sunny Isles Beach
Featuring Katherine Alexander from the New World School of the Arts. This is a free event. But tickets are required. Free tickets may be obtained in-person at the City of Sunny Isles Beach Government Center Visitor Center located at 18070 Collins Avenue or Pelican Community Park located at 18115 North Bay Road. The performance will be in conjunction with a presentation on public safety by the Sunny Isles Beach Police Department. There will be a light reception immediately following the concert.
Mary Poppins, Wednesday, June 9th, 2010

Join your fellow Sunny Isles Beach residents for the Opening Night of Mary Poppins at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. The opening night seats are in the Upper Mezzanine Rows C and D. The price for residents is $62.00 and $67.00 for non-residents and includes round trip transportation from the Sunny Isles Beach Government Center.
City 13th Anniversary Celebration, Sunday, June 13, 2010 – FREE
12:00-4:00 pm, Samson Oceanfront Park, 17425 Collins Avenue, Sunny Isles Beach
It’s that time of year again for the Sunny Isles Beach Offshore Power Boat Races and the City’s 13th Anniversary Celebration. Enjoy the Safari Animal Show with animals from Jungle Island. There will be live musical entertainment, crafts, BBQ, and a traditional birthday cake cutting with Mayor Edelcup and the City Commission at 3:00 pm. This is another free event hosted by the Cultural and Human Services Department and sponsored in part by Costco, Denny’s Epicure, and TD Bank.
