At Gaspesie at the entrance of the Saint Lawrence River, Valentino Leidi holds a copy of the Sunny Isles Beach Sun in front of the beautiful lighthouse named "Fame Point Light" or in French "le phare de la pointe-a-la-renommée". A Canadian company who developed the world's first trans-oceanic wireless transmission system used the lighthouse as a strategic center of communication as early as 1904 when it was installed by Marconi. The center received the S.S.Titanic's distress signal. Even thought it's not in service anymore the lighthouse remains famous for being the world's best traveled lighthouse. Within an hour’s drive of Gaspesie there is the National park of Forillon, where Valentino and his family spotted 3 big black bears, 2 beavers busy building their dam, and seals playing in the cold waters. During a 3 week trip across Canada Valentino saw about 40 lighthouses.
