Monday Night Madness with the Florida Marlins, Monday, September 13, 2010
5:30 pm – City Shuttle departs Sunny Isles Beach Government Center, 18070 Collins Avenue and arrives at Sun Life Stadium to catch the Florida Marlins versus the current World Series Champion Philadelphia Phillies. Rally your friends and neighbors for a night at the Ballpark. Infield box seats along the first baseline. HEAVY WALKING REQUIRED. The cost is $27 for residents, $32 non-residents and includes transportation and baseball game ticket.
Free Phone Giveaway for the Hearing Impaired, Tuesday, September 14, 2010 - FREE

FTRI-Florida Telecommunications Relay, Inc., a not-for-profit organization will be giving away amplified cordless telephones for the hearing impaired. Eligibility requirements include verification of hearing loss (either through use of hearing aid or doctor’s note) and proof of Florida residency (Florida driver’s license or voter’s registration card.) Sunny Serenade, Wednesday, September 15th, 2010 – FREE
7:30pm – 9:00pm, Samson Oceanfront Park (17425 Collins Avenue)
Bring your friends and neighbors to the City’s Sunny Serenade Season Opener featuring the Sunny Isles Beach Orchestra. The city hosts the Sunny Serenade Concert Series from September thru May, at Samson Oceanfront Park, typically on the 3rd Wednesday of the month. These concerts are FREE and open to the public. The event includes live musical entertainment, and refreshments for sale. Parking is available along the north side of 174th Street and in the municipal parking lot located at 175th Street and Atlantic Avenue, and the city shuttle bus will be running the special events schedule.
