to expend $50,000 from the Federal Forfeiture Fund in accordance with the Comprehensive
Crime Control Act of 1984.

The city is hosting a blood drive in the parking lot of City Hall in the R. K.
Plaza located at 17070 Collins Avenue. Community Blood Centers of South Florida
will be here from 9:00 a.m to 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 4, 2004.

The city has contracted with Spire Corp to upgrade the restroom facilities at
Gilbert Samson Oceanfront Park. For everyone's safety, the restrooms will be
closed during renovations.
Plans for active
park 'grow with city'

From a 12,000 square foot recreation center and a 10,000 square foot indoor gymnasium
to a little league baseball field for a big population of youths and additional
parking spaces, plans for a two-acre active park, located at North Bay Road and
181st Drive, have grown along with the City of Sunny Isles Beach.
